Martial Arts Seminar & Scholarship Dinner with “Forged in Fire’s” Doug Marcaida NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Premier Martial Arts of Akron and Canton is hosting a youth scholarship fundraising dinner along with martial arts seminars and workshops on Friday, February 23rd through Sunday, February 25th at the Embassy Suites in North Canton. On Friday, our keynote speaker will be Mr. Doug Marcaida, a filipino martial artist and judge from the History Channel’s “Forged in Fire.” The scholarship fundraising dinner event will start with a VIP cocktail hour where guests can meet and take photos with Mr. Marcaida. The evening will also include a silent auction with Martial Arts World Champion Reid Presley serving as the Master of Ceremony. At our Saturday and Sunday workshops, Premier Martial Arts instructors along with Mr. Marcaida, accompanied by his brother R.J. Marcaida as well as Taekwondo World Champions brothers Reid and Cole Presley, will provide participants with hands-on training in varying martial arts styles. The Warrior Lights workshop will focus on the fundamentals of Marcaida Kali using energy swords. With a goal of empowering lives through martial arts, Premier Martial Arts offers a unique curriculum that combines the styles of Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Krav Maga, and Kickboxing to develop each student into a well-rounded martial artist. With specialized character development teaching for children ages 3 to 12 years of age, Premier Martial Arts also offer classes in teen and adult self-defense. Proceeds raised from this event will provide scholarships to children seeking training through Premier Martial Arts located in Fairlawn and North Canton.
