Mark Cosgrove & Good Medicine – Master Flatpicking and Roots Driven Guitar
Mark Cosgrove brings his distinctive flatpicking style and wide-ranging roots influences to Godfrey Daniels with his band, Good Medicine. Known for his work with David Bromberg’s Grammy-nominated Quintet and Big Band, Cosgrove blends bluegrass, blues, and acoustic and electric guitar traditions into a sound shaped by decades of touring and recording. From championship flatpicking to deep groove and feel, his playing reflects a lifetime of musical exploration. Set in the intimate, attentive setting of Godfrey Daniels’ Live Music Listening Room, this performance offers a close-up experience with a guitarist whose path runs from classic bluegrass to Americana and beyond.
