Maritime Career Day at the National Museum of the Great Lakes

Event Description:
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is excited to host Maritime Career Day, an engaging event designed to inspire students to explore a variety of Great Lakes careers. Thanks to our sponsors, this event is free for students and aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the diverse career opportunities available in the maritime and related industries.
Event Highlights:
Self-Guided Boat Tours:
Students will embark on self-guided tours of our museum vessels, spending 10 minutes at each career station. Each station will focus on a different aspect of the industry.
Career Booths:
Representatives from various companies and organizations will be present at booths to discuss their work and career paths. This will give students a chance to interact directly with professionals from the industry.
Career Passports:
Students will receive passports to collect stamps from different career stations and booths. Completed passports can be turned in for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Free Lunch:
Students that register by October 1 receive complimentary lunch at Glass City Metropark Market Hall thanks to the support of our program sponsors.
