MAINPLACE TO HOST DÍA DE MUERTOS FESTIVAL
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), will host its Día de Muertos Festival on Saturday, October 25th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This centerwide event will celebrate the rich traditions of Día de Muertos with a series of live performances in Macy’s Court and a variety of hands-on workshops, family activities and cultural displays that invite guests to experience the history, art and vibrant spirit of this meaningful Mexican celebration. During the event, guests can enjoy a tin can mini altar workshop (JCPenney Court); art workshops (Round One Court and FYE); face painting, an ofrenda altar and Aztec interactive zone, a game room and a Lotería contest with live painting (My Perks Lounge); a photo booth and mural (Center Court); and live painting (Level 1, Food Court).
