MAINPLACE TO HOST ART WALK EVENT
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), invites the community to enjoy its fun and interactive monthly Art Walk event on Saturday, June 14th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature a Canvas Banner Workshop (near Center Court), a Sun Visor Personalization Workshop (near JCPenney), and a Sailboat Magnet Workshop (in the Food Court on Level 1); all workshops are first-come, first-served while supplies last. Local artists Karen Baldovinos and Francisco Flores will create live paintings in front of the Food Court escalator (near the main entrance) and in front of the Galería of Imagination. There will also be face painting near FYE and live entertainment on the stage in Macy’s Court; entertainment for the center’s June Art Walk includes upbeat tunes spun by the popular DJ Richie & Team (2 p.m. – 5 p.m.), a Cumbia Drum Circle with Moises Vazquez (3 p.m. – 4 p.m.), and a Loversonics performance (4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.). This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
