Madison String Quartet - Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church Lenten Music & Meditation Services
The Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church welcomes you to the first of three Lenten Music & Meditation Services on Wednesday March 6 at noon.
This initial service features the stunning sounds of the Madison String Quartet. Featuring Evelyn Estava, violin, Rebecca Harris-Lee, violin, Michael Avagliano, viola, and Gerall Hieser, violoncello, the quartet has performed together for 24 years and is renowned for their dynamic performances and innovative repertoire choices. They have recorded two albums and have performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as overseas in Austria and Germany.
Each service features this excellent music with interactive readings and prayers. Lunch is provided afterward in Westminster Hall.
The following week (March 13), our own Finley Singers with Chris Fortin on piano will be the featured musical performers. To finish our series on March 20, Merynda Adams on harp and Kathleen Nester on flute will present a magnificent performance.
