Macarons & Autumnal Blooms

Fall is just around the corner, bringing along its delicious flavors, crisp air, and stunning foliage. Join Rachel Glaza and Chelsey Walker for a Build Your Own Bouquet and Macaron Decorating Workshop that celebrates all things fall (and a little bit of spooky season). In this class, participants will get to build a stunning fall bouquet and decorate their own 4pk of macarons. This workshop is perfect for a date night, ladies night, small gathering, etc. All skills and abilities are welcome! Instructors will supply flowers and instruction on building a bouquet, and four macarons for decoration and instruction/supplies. While these cookies are naturally gluten-free, some of the filling ingredients may have gluten or wheat as they are produced in a kitchen that is not allergen-free. Macarons are made with almonds and fillings may contain nuts or other allergens. Folks with allergies or sensitivities are encouraged to reach out with questions before registering. *Fee: $75.00 (includes tax & take-home materials) *Space is limited to 20 participants. Please wear comfortable close-toe shoes and tie back long hair. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS Rachel Glaza is the baker/owner of Amalgam Design & Bakery located in Fitchburg, WI. She started baking as a child, destroying her parents' kitchen in search of the ultimate chocolate chip cookie recipe. Her favorite food is a tie between summer vegetable gratin and goat cheese and caramelized onion galette. When she's not in the kitchen, she's hanging with her husband and kid, re-learning how to rollerblade, and dreaming up her next creative project. Chelsey Walker is an artist and photographer, offering floral-inspired art, workshops, and services in the Midwest. Her award-winning work has been seen in galleries, businesses, and events across the country. Recently, she has started teaching workshops as a way to help others dive into their own creativity.
