Lunch and Learn: Benefits for Wartime Veterans Explained
Attention older Veterans, find out if you or your spouse qualifies for a higher level of pension during a free seminar on Veterans Benefits hosted by Heritage Hill Senior Community on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at noon, located at 800 Sixth St. in Weatherly.
Christine LeClair, the director of Carbon County Veterans Affairs, will discuss “Aid and Attendance,” a pension benefit that can help defray senior care costs and other Veteran benefits. Learn when to make a claim and how to use the money to benefit you. Lunch is included, courtesy of Heritage Hill.
