"Love You Tender" Valentine's Dinner Show
“Love You Tender,” an intimate evening with John Van Thiel, "The Voice of Elvis," will be held on Saturday, February 17, at Infusino’s Banquet Hall, 3201 Rapids Dr., Racine. The dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m., and the show will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
While he was known as the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll, Elvis Presley could equally be hailed as the King of the Love Song. Whether singing about falling into love or falling out of it, about tender love or a suspicious mind, Elvis expressed so much feeling in his performances that listeners even today feel as if he is singing directly to them.
Entertainer John Van Thiel brings that same touching sincerity to his performances. “Love You Tender” features a delicious dinner of chicken cordon bleu (a hand-breaded and baked chicken breast wrapped around a ham and cheese center), wedding salad, parsley potatoes, green beans, fresh bread and butter, coffee, and tea, finished off with a slice of cheesecake for dessert. A vegetarian option of eggplant parmigiana is available upon request.
