Los Pinguos Concert & Wine Tasting
Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Los Pinguos has been called the "Latin Beatles" by the Los Angeles Times. While they draw much inspiration from the traditional music of Argentina, they also blend reggae, cumbia and rumba flamenco to create danceable upbeat Latin rhythms.
They are featured in Playing for Change’s award-winning documentary “A Cinematic Discovery of Street Music,” which showcases and brings together musicians from across the world. For half of Los Pinguos, this will be their third time at The Grand Annex — they performed here last October as well as in April 2024 as part of Twanguero & Los Silverbacks’ sold-out show! Los Pinguos’s skill, rhythm and energy combine for electric live performances, connecting with audiences regardless of language and sharing the multicultural sounds of Argentina.
