Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant Announces a Women Behind the Wine Dinner
Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant, partnering with E&J Gallo Winery to highlight Women Behind the Wine during Women’s History Month, will host a wine paired prix fixe dinner that will take place on Wednesday, March 29 beginning at 5:30 PM. For $85.00, guests will be able to enjoy five courses from Executive Culinary Director and Top Chef alumni Erik Hopfinger with each course paired with a glass of wine from a prominent woman winemaker, plus there will be interactive storytelling. The evening will start with fresh Oysters and J Cuvee 20 Brut followed by Poached Pickled Tiger Prawn Escabeche with Jayson by Pahlmeyer Sauvignon Blanc, Roasted Game Hen Breast with Talbott Sleepy Hollow Pinot Noir, a Lamb Loin with Mount Peak Gravity Red Blend and, for dessert, Semolina Citrus Cake with J Brut Rose.
