Shymara Medina is an award-winning children's book author, storyteller, and passionate literacy advocate dedicated to inspiring young readers through meaningful stories. She is the author of Zeke's Quest for Courage, an award-winning book that encourages children to face their fears with confidence and kindness, as well as Zeke Becomes a Beekeeper, which celebrates curiosity, nature, and the importance of protecting bees.
When she's not writing, Shymara enjoys connecting with families through school visits, book signings, and community events, where she shares her love of reading and encourages children to dream big. Her mission is to create books that spark imagination, build confidence, and leave a lasting impact on young hearts.
