Living History Day
Come for a day of fun, history, and discovery – and it’s all FREE!
Explore the changing face of Oregon through dynamic displays and interactive activities by local historical societies and museums. Be immersed in the life and times of servicemembers during times of conflict from the Vietnam War back to WWII, and back still to the Spanish-American and Civil War with the help of living historians and reenactors. Soak in Oregon’s legacy of service and servicemembers across generations through informative and fun booths by local military heritage and service support organizations. Enjoy a slice of cake in celebration of the US Army’s recent birthday and sample a menu of MREs packed for today’s servicemembers. And don’t forget to try out an RC tank and check out a variety of historical military vehicles on display.
