The Science Museum of Long Island is excited to announce ScienceStock! A natural evolution of our efforts with Live at Five to celebrate science, music, and community engagement on an even grander scale. Join us for the second day scheduled for Sunday, June 23, from 1 pm to 6 pm at the picturesque Leeds Pond Preserve. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Woodstock, offering a unique blend of nature immersion, hands-on scientific exploration, conservation education, and continuous live music, this event is designed not only as a source of entertainment but also as a platform for promoting educational opportunities focused on conservation and sustainable practices that can be integrated into daily life.
Attendees will immerse themselves in nature while participating in hands-on science activities, learning about conservation efforts, and enjoying live performances by various bands, food from an assortment of delicious food trucks, and beer and wine from the famous Bubbly Bar Trailer. Worried about parking? Don't be! We will be setting up a trolley to shuttle people back and forth between the event and public parking lots.
Whether you're a science enthusiast, music lover, foodie, or all of the above, ScienceStock is the place to be. Gather your friends and family for a day filled with discovery, delight, and dancing under the open sky.
