Literary Variety Show & Open Mic

Come hang out with a community of weirdos and word lovers at Salt Mill. We celebrate all kinds of creativity—poetry, fiction, music, performance art, and whatever else you can dream up. The night starts with four featured performances followed by an open mic. This event is hosted by Millstone, a literary journal & art collective. Each variety show raises money for charity. Musicians will have an amp and a microphone available. If you perform at the open mic, you could be invited back as a featured artist. The stranger, the better—we want your puppet songs and one-woman show pitches. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and get ready to share and discover something unexpected.
