Literary Picnic with Poets, Essayists, & Cultural Critics Scott Woods and Hanif Abdurraqib
Join us on July 10 from 6-7:30pm on the Thurber House lawn for a literary picnic with Scott Woods and Hanif Abdurraqib. These two acclaimed poets, essayists, and cultural critics will engage in a vibrant conversation exploring themes of Black identity, community, and creativity. This event celebrates the release of Woods’ latest poetry collection, Black Night Is Falling, a powerful and irreverent meditation on Black joy, grief, and everyday life.
