"Lit Lunches" present nationally-known authors for intimate talks and gourmet lunch, prepared at Frenchtown's FiNNBAR by bestselling cookbook author and former Chez Panisse head chef Cal Peternell.
This Lit Lunch features wildly popular and inspiring essayist Margaret Dulaney, whose spoken-word essays on hope, love, and forgiveness reach tens of thousands of listeners each month. She is also the author of four books "filled with the epiphanies of an awakening soul" (Chicago Tribune) , including "To Hear The Forest Sing: Some Musings on the Divine" and a magical-realist fable for young adults, "Whippoorwill Willingly" (video).
In this Lit Lunch, Margaret will describe the magical power of writing what we love and the liberation that comes from feeling free to write about topics that move and inspire us. The reservation ($50) includes the talk, a delicious lunch, and a signed copy of your choice of Margaret's books.
