The Light The World Giving Machines Return to Charlotte's Promenade on Providence!
They will be in Charlotte from December 14, 2023 - January 1, 2024 near the lawn at the Promenade on Providence (10844 Providence Rd). Join us for the ribbon-cutting, December 13th at 6:00 PM featuring live music and performances and guest speakers.
Experience this unforgettable way to help those in need this holiday season. The popular red "vending machine" works in reverse by giving users an opportunity to purchase a variety of much-needed items for someone else--across town or around the world. Featured local charities include Baby Bundles, Beds for Kids, and The Relatives.
Giving options range from $5 - $240 and include items such as hygiene kits, clothing, meals, baby supplies, educational support, and even chickens. After the payment process is completed, a card representing the item drops into an enclosed display bin. 100% of your donations are given to the charity of your choosing.

On the activities calendar you'll see 20 days of fun, family-friendly events including music (featuring local musicians and school choirs), games, performances, a dog parade and even a Panthers night with Brady Christensen!
