Library Director Welcome Reception
The Board of Trustees of the Bloomfield Public Library is happy to announce the appointment of Chelsea Arnold as our new library director. We are very excited to welcome Chelsea and look forward to working alongside her as we strive to best serve our library patrons and the community. Chelsea was previously employed for the past six years by the New York Public Library. She most recently was the Supervising Librarian of the Children’s Department at the Bronx Library Center, the largest branch in the Bronx. After living in New York City for more than a decade, she desired to relocate closer to family in the Rochester area, where she was born and raised. She brings a wealth of fresh ideas, and looks forward to working in a smaller library and connecting with the community.
