Lee’s Summit West Holiday Mart has grown into one of Lee’s Summit’s most highly anticipated annual events, drawing thousands of shoppers and earning a loyal following throughout the community. What began in 2008 with just 50 vendors has expanded into a powerhouse holiday marketplace featuring 130+ amazing local artisans, creators, bakers, and small businesses. Each year, more than 4,000 shoppers descend on Lee’s Summit West to discover unique handmade goods, boutique finds, gourmet treats, seasonal décor, and one‐of‐a‐kind gifts.
The Holiday Mart is known for its exceptional vendor lineup — a curated mix of local artisans showcasing handcrafted jewelry, home décor, art, textiles, and personalized items; creative makers offering boutique fashion, accessories, and custom designs; and bakers serving up irresistible sweets, breads, and holiday treats. Small businesses from across the region return year after year, contributing to the event’s vibrant, community‐driven atmosphere.
Food lovers flock to the Mart’s popular food truck lineup, featuring crowd favorites like Barkin’ Bean Roasters, Bee Ray’s, Burritos Lagos, and Rolling in the Dough KC — each bringing its own flavor and flair to the celebration.
Beyond the shopping and festive energy, the Holiday Mart serves a powerful purpose: proceeds support the Lee’s Summit West Journalism Department, helping fund essential equipment, materials, technology upgrades, and even college scholarships for student journalists.
