Lecture on Orthodox Christian Iconography
Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow will be hosting a free lecture on “Iconography, Art, and Faith” on Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 PM. Our guest lecturer will be Hieromonk Silouan from the Monastery of Saint Dionysios the Areopagite (ROCOR) in Saint James, NY. Father Silouan obtained an MFA in painting from Hunter College, CUNY, and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY, and is also an editor and contributor to the Orthodox Arts Journal.

Holy Trinity Church, founded in 1924, is the first Orthodox Christian parish in the Nassau/Suffolk area and centrally located in mid-island East Meadow.
