Leave Your Troubles at The Door (stand-up comedy) [3 YR ANNIVERSARY]
Leave Your Troubles at The Door is a completely improvised stand-up comedy showcase where the audience's problems help create the topics of the jokes on stage. Audience members anonymously write their problems / troubles down on pieces of paper, put them in a box before the show and then many of the best comedians from the Pacific Northwest and beyond take on those issues with their on-the-spot jokes. You can STAY anonymous, too.
It's a rare comedy show where instead of the comedians joking about their problems, they joke about yours! You're more than likely to walk away from the show feeling at least slightly better about your problems. Just leave 'em at the door.
This very special 3 Year Anniversary show features Sam Whiteley (WW's Funniest Five 2023), Dominic Angel (Chatterbox L.A.), Imani Denae (Vulture Mag, Portland Mercury's Genius of Comedy), David Tveite (Last Comic Standing, Bumbershoot) and Virginia Jones (Portlandia, CNN's History of Comedy).
