Law & Order & Gifts & Access: Reception and Conversation w ProPublica's Supreme Court investigators
Join us in honoring the intrepid reporters of ProPublica's Supreme Court investigation team who exposed a shadow world of access and gifts among Supreme Court Justices. ProPublica's reporting not only earned the team the 2024 Nellie Bly Award, but the Pulitzer Prize as well! A meet-and-greet reception will be followed by a thought-provoking roundtable discussion on Supreme Court ethics and the responsibilities and challenges of reporting on the highest court in the land. Panelists will include members of the investigation team, along with Rex Smith, former Editor of the Times Union, Investigative Reporter for the Times Union, Brendan Lyons, and Julie Novkov, Dean of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs.
The event is being produced by The Museum of Political Corruption in partnership with the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy and the League of Women Voters of Albany County.
