Shortly after the recent Abundant Life school shooting, MCPF was contacted by a retired MPD officer about organizing a positive event to show our appreciation for all the MPD officers, MFD and other local LE agencies who responded that day. Since Thursday, January 9th, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD), what better day to pick. So in collaboration with our local Red Cross chapter, MCPF is excited to announce our inaugural MCPF-LEAD Blood Drive which will take place on Thursday, January 9th, at the Garver Feed Mill, 3241 Garver Green, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Our goal is to collect 100 units of blood.
