Justice for All Immigrants presents “Laughs for Legal Aid"- where comedy meets justice for a good cause! Your $45 ticket includes dinner catered by Fire Wok, served at 5:30PM.
CLETO RODRIGUEZ is a San Antonio born and raised stand-up comedian. He connects with audiences through relatable everyday experiences, delivering high-energy, observational, and brilliantly humorous performances with a Latino twist. Cleto’s deep roots in San Antonio trace back to his grandfather, one of Texas' first Congressional Medal of Honor winners. Beyond comedy, he gives back to the community by supporting wounded warriors and disadvantaged youth. Cleto’s career spans almost 30 years; he has performed nationwide with comedy legends George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Daniel Tosh, Wayne Brady, Brett Butler, and Tim Hawkins, and opened for B.B. King.
TANVEER ARORA is a Mumbai-born Texas-based comedian who fearlessly incorporates his own family into his comedy, using it as a platform to share insights about his culture, religion, and Indianness. He's a two-time finalist in the Funniest in South Texas competition, nominated as the best Stand-Up Comic in San Antonio in 2019, and acted in an award-winning short movie, "En Route." He runs the Ten Beer Comedy and Jokes Ok Please (Hinglish) shows in Texas and performs nationally and internationally, making him a comedic force blending humor and cultural insights.
Proceeds support Justice for All Immigrants. JFAI’s mission is to provide low-income individuals and families with affordable, high-quality immigration legal services and engage in immigration education and advocacy.
