Last Saturday to see "Friends of Deborah Masters TWO"
Visitors are invited to “Friends of Deborah Masters TWO” on it’s final Saturday, July 19th, from 12 - 5pm. Free to the public, the new gallery displays works by Deborah Masters, as well as FODM TWO, featuring both local, NYC and international artists.
The large and airy studio was built for massive sculptural projects (gantry and molds used in Masters' process are also on display), and the studio and park-like grounds now house several monumental concrete pieces by Masters, as well as her works on paper, in plaster, bronze, and clay. The light-filled studio has been renovated to display the group show in the center of the space. FODM TWO exhibition works encompass everything from a paperfall, howling steel animals, photography, drawings, paintings, and collage, to monumental to miniature sculpture in wood, bronze, and ceramics.
Exhibiting artists will be at the show. The public is welcome to explore the grounds and studio, enjoy a drink, and join the conversation and community around the studio’s Big Table.
