Lass Your Aff Off! Stand-up Comedy
As 2024 winds down, comedy at The Z is ramping up on November 9th with rock and roll funny man, Pete George.
With more than 10,000 comedy shows under his belt, Pete has headlined Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, the House of Blues and Hard Rock Casino in Cleveland, winning fans and critical acclaim. Along with the hundreds of comedy clubs, corporate events, colleges and military shows across the country, Pete was also a host of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp at the infamous Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood. Currently, Pete can be seen as the lead in an International Audi commercial, guest-starring in “Blood Relatives”, “The Incredible Life of Darrell” for Warner Brothers and out in 2020, playing a drag queen in “A Social Distance” movie.
Also, in our November 9th show will be Laura Hayden. Laura leaves no sordid stone unturned in her stand-up comedy. The mastermind behind the multi-media show “I Didn’t Mean To Be A Virgin In The 80’s,” all topics are fair game for Laura, from her own stories of coming of age to the bizarre and all too funny real life experiences. Laura has appeared in countless clubs, theatres, casinos, cruise ships, military tours and shacks all over the United States and 26 countries. Laura’s credits include TV Guide Network, Laughs on Fox, The Night Shift with Kevin Ferguson, Funny.com, Dead Americans, LATALK radio and Sirius/XM radio.
Joining Pete and Laura is the hilarious Jeff Zaret. Jeff has been performing stand-up comedy for over 30 years and has lent his vocal talent to a wide range of voice-over work— from animation to business to everything in between. Jeff performs regularly at clubs throughout LA and the OC as well as clubs throughout the U.S.
Hosting this comedy extravaganza is OC’s very own Bill Word! Bill has been doing standup comedy since 1991 and performs at the Improv and Laugh Factory and throughout OC & LA. Bill has been featured on “ABC’s America’s Funniest People.” And you may have seen him on NBC, TLC and PBS. Bill was a panelist in the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and has been featured on National Lampoon Comedy Radio numerous times.
