Land Management Field Day
Golden Hills RC&D is hosting a field day focused on land management practices. This field day will cover land management and invasive species or vegetation management methods. Grazing as a tool to do so will particularly be highlighted, which will include a current project at this preserve that demonstrates that. A brief history on this remnant prairie preserve and information on creative land access opportunities will also be included in the program. Guest speakers include Glenn Pollock and Tabitha Panas from the Loess Hills Preservation Society, Matt Vermeersch from Mud Ridge Ranch, and Aric Ping from Pottawattamie County Conservation
Registration and refreshments start at 8:30 am. An RSVP or preregistration is required and needs to be done by the end of the day June 15th.
