Lamrim Retreat with Gen Kelsang Wangpo
Join Gen Kelsang Wangpo and explore the essential meditations that make up the stages of the Buddhist path. The meditations will focus on the stages of the path to enlightenment—the initial, intermediate, and great scope, as outlined in the presentation known as Lamrim. With teachings and guided meditations, participants will build a solid foundation for the two key components of the path: compassion and wisdom.
Gen Wangpo will lead the meditation sessions, covering topics such as death, rebirth, refuge, karma, and renunciation, as well as, the practices to cultivate love, compassion, and the wisdom of realizing emptiness. Whether attending a portion or the entire retreat, all are welcome to join this journey of inner exploration and spiritual development.
Session Times
Friday Night
Intro – 7:30 to 9pm
Saturday | Sunday | Monday
Session 1 – 9 to 10:30am
Session 2 – 11:30 to 1:pm
Session 3 – 4 to 5:30pm
Session 4 – 7 to 8:30pm
Cost: $8 per session, $45 for a whole retreat
