Klezmer Conservatory Band
For over 45 years, the Klezmer Conservatory Band (KCB) has been a leading global voice in the preservation and evolution of Yiddish song and Eastern European Jewish instrumental music. Renowned for a repertoire that spans from soulful Yiddish standards to virtuosic, high-energy dance medleys, the KCB has served as a premier musical ambassador across the U.S. and Europe.
The band’s history includes ten international broadcasts of A Prairie Home Companion and collaborations with icons like Robin Williams, Joel Grey, and the Boston Ballet. Notably, the KCB has been a featured cornerstone of Itzhak Perlman’s "In the Fiddler’s House" and "Eternal Echoes" projects, performing at legendary venues including Radio City Music Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl. With a discography of over ten acclaimed albums and a featured role in the PBS Great Performances special "Rejoice!", the Klezmer Conservatory Band continues to thrill modern audiences with the universal appeal of Eastern European Jewish music.
