Kiwanis Fishing Tournament Always the Day Before Father's Day Free 8 a.m. - noon
Kids can make a Father's Day card and a Home Deport craft after fishing at the Kiwanis free event at McKibben Park, off Sumter Blvd. There's hotdogs, ice cream, snacks and more. Students can earn a prize for catching the most fish, the ugliest fish, the cutest fish, the longest fish and the smallest fish. Kids are encouraged to bring friends and enjoy time on the water with families without electronics. Children also receive a free T-shirt and book at the event.
