Keystone Villa at Douglassville's dementia support group: The influence of muscle memory in dementia
Are you caring for a loved one living with memory impairment? Keystone Villa at Douglassville invites you to our monthly dementia support group, providing family caregivers with education and conversation.
Our dementia support group now meets the first Thursday of every month in the Personal Care building at 1152 Ben Franklin Highway E.
Join us on Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. for “The Influence of Muscle Memory in Dementia.” Learn how to engage your loved one with familiar and sometimes repetitive actions. Accessing their stored muscle memory gives them a sense of achievement, satisfaction, and comfort and curbs frustration and isolation.
