Shane Fontane
In the blur of late-night undergrounds, Shane Fontane stands as a techno conjurer, orchestrating ecstatic moments with his sorcery of sound. Subjacent is a San Francisco and Philadelphia-based female duo. Exploring the duality in nature and in people, Subjacent produces techno, melodic techno tracks mixing soft melodies and powerful techno drums. Their first track “Orange Sky” was released on Family Piknik and has received support from renowned Techno DJs & Music Producers like Tom Pooks, Emanate, and the legendary John Digweed (on Transitions #877). They frequently perform in the US and have opened for artists such as Christian Smith, Drunken Kong, Giorgia Angiuli, Pretty Pink, and Sebastien Leger. Rose and Amandine are multicultural, serving as both DJs and music producers, and they are currently working on their upcoming EPs. Subjacent is a San Francisco and Philadelphia-based female duo. Eichef is a San Francisco based DJ/producer originally from Mexico City. He explores a wide sonic range, from acid influenced broken beats and mental atmospheres, to heavier minimal techno and electro. In addition to live techno leaning performances, Eichef also DJs regularly as a resident of WERD - the “Sunday Mass” held weekly at Monarch in SF, and is half of the techno duo U-SRD. https://soundcloud.com/eichef
