KAT HASTY Record Signing
As a child, before she knew how to put words on paper, Kat Hasty was singing and writing music. Born and raised in west Texas, her upbringing pours through her songwriting in tales of desert highways and the hustle and bustle of oil towns. Laced with heartache, joy, loss, and female angst, her songs are ingenious and uniquely her own. Hasty’s new album Time of Your Life features songs about her adventures on the road and the people you meet, escaping her hometown in the Texas Midlands, finding her place in the music business, letting go of resentment, moving on from doomed relationships, and playing (and losing) the lottery.
