Juneteenth Caribbean Heritage Festival - Keeping Our History Alive
Join ART 2063 for a family-friendly Juneteenth celebration near the Tivoli Theater in University City. Activities include historical exhibits, a children's village, vendors, an awards program and live entertainment and speakers throughout the day. This year's Keynote Speaker is Reynaldo Anderson, Associate Professor of Africology and African American Studies at Temple University in Philadelphia and the Executive Director and co-founder of the Black Speculative Arts Movement.
Entry fees ($20.25 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under) provide access to the festival activities along with a cultural meal.
