June 13 - Meigs Point Nature Center (MPNC) Anniversary Celebration With No Child Left Inside
Join us as we celebrate a major milestone—the 10th anniversary of our Nature Center building.—with a full day of engaging programs, tours, and special events for visitors of all ages.
This celebration highlights both where we are today and the journey that brought us here. Guests will enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, guided garden tours, and interactive Solar Strolls.
A special highlight of the day will be a Meet & Greet with former staff, offering a unique opportunity to hear firsthand stories about what it was like to work here before the new building was constructed.
In addition to scheduled programming, the day will feature:
“Remember When” – A special exhibit of history and memorable moments over the years. Including past exhibits.
Exhibit Showcase – Featuring CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection:

Wildlife Division
Boating Safety
CARE Fisheries
Dinosaur State Park
Forestry
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day from Café Laurel.
