GALLERY SHOW, Neel’s sophomore release, opens with warm nylon and steel guitars meandering like tumbleweeds on the beach over the title track. Throughout the album Neel plays a narrator with an unassuming melody, introducing us to a world that feels like an arthouse film set in a small town somewhere between the Texas Panhandle and the Gulf Coast. The densely packed 6 song album contains a wide cast of characters, dreamlike mantras, lyrical sketches, modern dancers, conversations with birds, hijacked drum machines and more.
