Judith Viorst's Love and Shrimp
Love and Shrimp is a musical revue, with lyrics by Judith Viorst and music by Shelly Markham. It is not a single narrative but a collection of songs, poems, and musings that explore the often hilarious and sometimes painful realities of relationships through the eyes of three women. Their stories occur in the living rooms, bedrooms and carpools of the imagination that many of us experience. It's a cabaret style show mixing humor and memories as dreams meet sometimes bittersweet reality amid being single, then married and finally parents.
Written by Judith Viorst with music by Shelley Markham. Directed by David Swicegood and accompanied by Winkie Goodwin. Starring Lisa Baker, Beth Olson and Vicky Gatch Jackson.
