Join Juniper Village at South Hills in a Cookout for Caring!
Come out on Tuesday, September 24th at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to Juniper Village at South Hills, located at 1320 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 for a special Cookout for Caring!
This event is being held to raise funds for The Highmark Caring Place, a center dedicated to supporting grieving children, adolescents, and their families. The Caring Place provides peer support that helps children realize they are not alone in their experiences and emotions.
In addition to peer support groups, The Caring Place offers educational programs, consultation services, presentations, and resources for schools and professionals who work with children. Their work aims to raise awareness about the needs of grieving children and how the community can better support them during these difficult times.
During the event, attendees will be treated to a delicious barbecue. There will also be opportunities to win fantastic prizes through a silent auction and raffle, all while supporting this important cause.
This public is open to friends, family, and the community, with a $5 donation to support children and their families in the grieving process.
