Singer-songwriters-musicians Joanna Howerton and Michael Cross hail from Austin, and together form a powerful musical partnership. The synergy between Joanna's emotive voice and Michael's instrumental talent creates a captivating live experience. Whether playing as a duo or as part of a larger ensemble, Joanna and Michael continue to contribute to Austin's vibrant music community. Playing folk, rock, and blues they are joined by Freddie Mendoza (trombone), Steven Vague (sax), David Webb (piano), Michael Epstein (bass), and Ernie Durawa (drums).
