Jesus Christ Superstar - Auditions for 2027 (please click on "buy tickets" to schedule your audition
This is a non-equity show. Theatre Americana will be producing Jesus Christ Superstar in March 2027. Performance tracks will be used for this show.*Please prepare 16-20 bars of a song. Please bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. The following roles are available:MARY MAGDALENE: Female, age 18 – 30. (Mezzo Soprano), one of Jesus’ followers, strong vocalist, strong mover. KING HEROD: Male, age 25-45. (Tenor/High Baritone), theatrical in nature, strong vocalist, strong mover/dancerCAIAPHAS: Male, age 30 and up. (Bass), High Priest, minimal dancing. PONTIUS PILATE: Male, age 30-45 (Baritone), strong mover/dancer. SIMON ZEALOTS: Male, age 21-35. (Tenor/High Baritone), possibly double cast in the ensembleANNAS: Male, age 25-45. (Tenor/High Baritone), possibly double cast in the ensemble ENSEMBLE: Male & Female, any gender, age 17 and up, extreme stamina, stronger dancers and movers.
