Jerry Joseph, an Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee, is an under-the-radar music marvel with a formidable presence in both mainstream and unconventional venues worldwide. Often performing in war zones and refugee camps, his efforts in conflict areas, teaching music to displaced teenagers through his non-profit Nomad Music Foundation, have garnered attention from Rolling Stone, Relix, and PBS News Hour. Despite his prodigious output since the 80s with bands like Little Women and The Jackmormons, and collaborations in the supergroup Stockholm Syndrome (with David Schools of Widespread Panic), Joseph remains somewhat of an enigma, underlining his status as a cult figure in both the punk and jamband music scenes.
