Jazz on a Friday Afternoon with the Fred Johnson Quartet
On April 19, the Jazz Club is pleased to present the Fred Johnson Quartet. An accomplished vocalist and percussionist, Johnson is recognized internationally as one of the world’s greatest vocal jazz improvisers. He has toured with B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Chick Corea, and Miles Davis, and has been compared to greats such as Jon Hendricks and Al Jarreau. Concert from 2 - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church 3975 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. Enjoy a great afternoon jazz concert with Fred Johnson, Michael Ross, Walt Hubbard and Patrick Bettison.
