Jazz on a Friday afternoon featuring the outstanding trumpeter and Bay area favorite, James Suggs
On April 26, the Jazz at Two presents the James Suggs Quartet. An amazing jazz trumpeter and one of the most in demand musicians in the Bay area, James Suggs is from Harrisburg, PA. Suggs has shared the stage with some of the best jazz musicians, Ken Peplowski, Houston Person, John Lamb and others. He has performed critically acclaimed tribute shows to Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis and Harry James. His CD, "You’re Gonna Hear From Me" (Arbors), has received rave reviews from critics. Concert from 2 - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church 3975 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. Admission $15-$20 at the door. A special perk for JC members - bring a friend for free.
