Jazz Club of Sarasota Scholarship Awards Presentation
The Jazz Club of Sarasota proudly announces a special Scholarship Concert from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center, 525 Kumquat Court, Sarasota.
This concert is set to celebrate and support the Club’s scholarship program, which nurtures the next generation of jazz musicians. The event will feature performances by all the talented scholarship recipients Attendees will enjoy a diverse lineup, showcasing not only the rich heritage, but the future of Jazz.
“We are thrilled to host this concert, which not only highlights the incredible talent in our community, but also underscores our commitment to fostering young musicians,” said Michael Ross, musical director and co-chair of the Scholarship Committee. “This evening is a celebration of their achievements and their commitment to Jazz.” This season the Club is thrilled to have awarded fourteen students from Tampa to Fort Myers. Our hope is to grow this effort to include as many students as possible who show an interest and talent for Jazz. Ticket information TBA soon.
