Jazz at Two with the Sarasota Jazz Project
On February 7, enjoy big band jazz with the Sarasota Jazz Project. One of the finest jazz bands in the area, the Sarasota Jazz Project is directed by co-founder, George McLain. Comprised of some of the best musicians on the Gulf Coast, the sixteen piece band plays the music of the great big bands of the past as well as original compositions and arrangements. The Project Band also features music from the American Songbook and some classic jazz standards. Performing with the band is vocalist Bianca Holiday. Unitarian Universalists Sarasota 3975 Fruitville Rd. Admission paid at the door. Jazz Club members $15 - Guests $20
