Jazz at the Cabaret - Paul Gavin and Friends
On September 9, Monday Night Jazz at the Cabaret presents an evening of jazz featuring Paul Gavin and Friends in an intimate cabaret setting in downtown Sarasota at the John C. Court Cabaret at FST; First St and Cocoanut Ave, Sarasota. An outstanding drummer, Gavin and the band have performed highly acclaimed tributes to the music of Art Blakey and Miles Davis. The Paul Gavin Mosaic Band were a highlight of the Sarasota Jazz Festival in March, receiving numerous standing ovations during the performance. He is a composer, bandleader and educator who brings energy and excitement to every performance. Joining him are John O'Leary-keys and Daniel Navarro-bass. Concert begins at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 6:30 for food and beverage service.
