Jazz Arts Academy’s Fall Session 2024 registration is now available! Musicians on all instruments ages 13-18 are welcomed and encouraged to register today!
The Fall Session provides personalized instruction, lessons in music theory and technique, jazz ensembles, and guidance from visiting clinicians. Each student has the opportunity to perform and learn about many aspects of jazz through hands-on performance-based classes, which includes improvisation, masterclasses, workshops, and listening sessions taught by a faculty of world-class working professional recording artists who are also dedicated educators. In this program, musicians are enabled to advance skills, connect with fellow musicians, and dive deeper into the world of jazz music.
Sessions are every Sunday beginning September 15, at 3pm, through December 15, held at The Count Basie Center for the Arts facility in Red Bank, NJ. Additional days or times may be posted depending upon enrollment. All students will perform in a final showcase concert alongside an invited guest artist near the end of the program. Showcase details to be announced at a later date.
The Fall Session tuition fee is $550 for all 14 sessions. Tuition assistance grants and a limited number of full scholarships are available. Interested parties are encouraged to apply early as these opportunities are limited.
