Jacqueline Tabor - Madrona Music in the Playground
Music in the Playfield is a free Tuesday night concert series each August at Madrona Playfield in Seattle. Spread a blanket on the grass, bring low chairs and dinner, let the kids run, and stay for two 45-minute sets from 6 to 8 PM. All ages, no tickets, rain or shine.
Tuesday, August 18 brings Jacqueline Tabor, one of Seattle's most celebrated jazz, blues, and swing vocalists. A four-time Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year and recent inductee into the Earshot Jazz Hall of Fame, Tabor performs with her band. Her sets are known for emotional depth, range, and a vocal honesty that draws listeners in.
