J Family Day: Israeli Cooking Workshop
Join the Mandel JCC to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day with Israeli chef and Instagram personality Chen Koren. She will present a hands-on cooking workshop for people of all ages to taste the diversity of Israeli cuisine. Chen and her husband, Alon Koren, will share their personal stories – including their own childhoods growing up on the Gaza border, how they raise children together as a couple divided on religious and political identity, and how their business gives those around the world a taste of Israeli delicacies.
Free and open to the community. Registration required.
